There are a few ways you can request a commissioned drawing. You can fill out the contact form on this website, email or private message us via Instagram or Facebook - whichever way is easiest for you!
Firstly, we'll discuss your deadline and if the drawing can be completed in this time (usually allow 1 week not including postage, but in special circumstances a shorter deadline could be arranged). Next, we'll discuss what you want the drawing for, where it'll go in the house etc. to determine which size drawing will suit your situation best. Then, we'll ask you to send over the photo(s) you'd like to be drawn- it's best to have a few photograph options so that we can work together to select the most appropriate photograph needed, in order to create a drawing you'll love! Once all this has been decided, we will take a deposit payment of 20% of the drawing fee- you will then have the next 24 hours to cancel the drawing request and will be fully refunded. NOTE: The drawing process will not begin until the deposit has been paid. Any cancellations over 24 hours after deposit payment has been processed will NOT be refunded. Once the deposit payment is all sorted, you'll receive a confirmation of your order. Some clients request updates so that they can see how the drawing progresses and request any small changes they might want done during the process - if this is something you'd like, just let us know and we'll happily oblige!
Every thing we post is sent via Royal Mail (Post Office, UK). Therefore, we are able to post worldwide and offer a variety of postal services including: 2nd Class, 1st Class, 'Signed For' 1st or 2nd Class, 'Special Delivery' (Guaranteed by an agreed time) etc. The cost of postage varies depending on which service you would like, the weight and size of the drawing, and where in the world the drawing is being delivered to. Postage prices start from £3.00. NOTE: choosing to have the drawing framed with us will increase the weight and size of the parcel which will increase postage costs. If you are unsure of your postage options, just drop us an email or call and we will be happy to talk through the options in further detail with you. This is dependent on the postal service you request. Standard delivery for UK is estimated at 3-5 working days. For deliveries outside of the UK, please contact us and we will let you know the amount of time estimated for delivery.
This is completely your choice! If you decide you'd like to have the drawing framed, just let us know when you pay the deposit for the drawing. This will give us enough time to find the perfect frame for you. To make sure we choose the right frame, we will discuss budget, colour options, materials etc. and send you examples of possible frames/prices. No framing decisions will be made without your consent, we will only suggest options but the final decision will be yours. If, on receiving the framed drawing, you decide you aren't happy with the selection and would like to source a frame yourself instead, just send the frame back to us and we will fully refund the price of the frame once its been returned.
Yes. Unfortunately, choosing to have the drawing framed with us will increase the weight and size of the parcel, which will incur additional postal charges. For more information, see the previous question 'What are the postage costs?'.
Yes, collection is always an option and will be free of charge! If collection is something you are happy and able to do, just let us know and together we will arrange a time and date for collection from the business' address.
All unframed and framed drawings are posted already gift-wrapped! This includes wrapping the drawing in several layers of tissue paper (colour matched to our logo) and sealing with a sticker of our logo and beautiful ribbon! To see examples of how we gift wrap our drawings, just give us an email or private message via the social media pages and we will send a photograph of how the final product looks. For alternative gift wrapping enquiries, contact us and we can discuss options. As some clients choose to have the drawing sent as a gift directly to the person it's for, we understand how important the presentation of the finished product is and are happy to meet any specific gift-wrapping requirements!
